About Us

In 1994 the Office of Extended Education at TCU embarked upon what may be one of the most fulfilling programs in its history. That summer we offered our first Advanced Placement Summer Institute. From that initial week with 306 teachers the institute has grown to five weeks with over 2,100 educators enrolled and provided professional development for over 33,000 teachers. TCU is proud to have a role in supporting teachers and education as we fulfill our mission to “engage TCU with the community through high quality courses, programs, conferences and other offerings that educate, enlighten, renew and serve.”
